Rifle optics have never been better and there are a whole host of fantastic options available. But, if your first impression is holding it like a telescope in front of your face, you’ll miss out on where these optics really shine. The Scope Demonstrator is a fix for this issue. I recycled a wooden stock for a discontinued model and put a dummy receiver block in it. Then, I designed a picatinny rail that could be easily removed by depressing a spring-loaded plunger. This allows our sales team to mount any number of optics to picatinny rail section and swap them in as desired. It’s super fast and easy to show a customer an optic without them struggling to find the reticle or get a clear picture.

But, what if the scope the customer wants to see is not mounted in rings on a rail??? That’s where the Speed-Mount comes in. Coming in 3 sizes so far, the sales member just grabs the corresponding size, mounts it to the dummy block, and sets the scope inside. The lever cams over the top of the scope and an o-ring can be pulled over onto the non-captive end for added retention. It might not be level, or the best mount in the moment. But it’s super fast and gets your 95% there.
